I am super impressed that Captain Patel has been established all along.

Here he is in the Secret Blueprints, which seem to date from at least 2000, as the back cover copy refers to "the extensive story coming in February 2001":

Amit Patel was the authentic captain in command of the Castle Wulfenbach airship. He had been an air pirate until he had been recruited by Klaus. He, thereafter, served from Castle Wulfenbach's launch until its destruction. Klaus hired a lot of air pirates. On the whole, they proved to be superior flyers, knew the importance of taking orders, and were good in a fight.

He is referred to in the main text as "the great figure of Captain Patel".

I adored everything about the Animal Control Season 2 premiere.

The comedy is shaper, the relationships are deeper, and the animal antics keep getting better (The pack wrangling drunk raccoons!).

Okay, I am loving the show Animal Control. I love all the characters so much, I just wish we’d see them in different duos from time to time (though it’s still really early, so I’m sure that’s coming).

Like Patel recently found out that Victoria likes Frank, so I wanna see more scenes between Victoria and Frank (also they are both treasures that I want to cuddle like Emily cuddles cats - how awesome to get to do that for an acting job, btw - so I want to see them happy with each other).

I do love the already established partnerships though: Frank and Shred, (Amit) Patel and Victoria, and Emily and Dolores.

I honestly don’t even have a favourite character because I adore them all.

I am also constantly distracted at how much Michael Rowland, who plays Shred, looks like Andy Samberg (...Somebody tell Fox their remorse over the B99 breakup is still showing).
